Our Cremation Process

Families often want to know exactly what happens after they call us. Here is the process, step by step, explained plainly.

The first call

Call us at (219) 900-3995. Tell us what you have in mind, if anything. Many families do not know yet, and that is fine.

We arrange to bring your loved one into our care, whether the death happened at home, in a hospital, or in a care facility.

Authorizations and permits

Before a cremation can take place, the legal next of kin signs an authorization and the required permits are issued. We prepare the paperwork, file it, and go through it with you.

We also order certified copies of the death certificate, which you will need to settle accounts and benefits.

Care at every step

Your loved one is identified and cared for with respect from the moment they arrive until the cremated remains are returned to you.

If you have questions at any point, ask us. We will always give you a straight answer.
